In an interview given to a news website, when a fan asked Jaideep Ahlawat if he is a part of 'Ramayana', he replied, "The offer was made, but the timing did not match".
Jaideep Ahlawat further said, "They needed a particular time, because it was necessary for Ravana to be with Vibhishan, so the dates of the two actors had to match together. I am sure that Ravana's (Yash) date would be more important than mine.
