The company's founder Bhavish Agarwal claims that the company is selling 4 electric scooters every 1 second. The company has earned more than 600 crores from this. Bhavish says that today is the last day for the sale of the scooter, from the night the purchase of the scooter will stop.
Booking is being done for Rs 499
The Ola electric scooter is available in two variants S1 and S1 Pro. Its booking is being done for Rs 499. The entry-level S1 variant of the Ola electric scooter has been priced at Rs 99,999 and the S1 Pro variant at Rs 1,29,999. It is being told that the delivery of these scooters can start from next month i.e. October. These will be directly home delivered to the customers.
You can buy Ola electric scooter online only from the company's official website or mobile app. The company will deliver the scooters on a first booking basis.
The process to buy Ola scooter
To complete the process of buying a scooter, you have to follow four steps.
1. If you have made a pre-booking for 499, then now you have to go to Ola Electric's website and sign in with your phone number. After that, you have to select the variant which you want to buy. If you have not registered for the scooter, you can pre-book by paying Rs 499. After selecting the variant, you have to select the color of the scooter. Ola's electric scooters are coming in 10 colors. The color option selected at the time of registration can also be changed later.
2. After selecting the color, the payment tab will appear. You will have to pay the remaining amount according to the price of the variant that you have chosen. For this, you will have to pay an advance of Rs 20,000. If you are looking to finance the scooter, then the EMI for the S1 will start from Rs. 2,999 for you. You can also go for the advanced version of Ola S1 Pro with EMI starting at Rs 3,199.
3. Ola Financial Services has tied up with IDFC First Bank, HDFC, and TATA Capital to provide loan facilities to customers. According to the company, HDFC Bank is providing pre-approved loans on the app of Ola and Ola Electric to compliant customers. It also informed that Tata Capital and IDFC First Bank will approve the loan immediately after processing the digital KYC.
If you do not want to buy a scooter on loan, then you will have to pay Rs 20,000 in advance. You will have to pay the rest of the price before the delivery of the scooter. If you do not want to buy the scooter then you can ask for the full down payment and advance back. But you will be able to get this facility only as long as the scooter remains in the company's factory.
4. When you complete the purchase process, you will be notified by the Company of the delivery date.
