The fire broke out in four bogies of Durg Express going from Delhi to Chhattisgarh on Friday. Suddenly the smoke-filled the four bogies. The train has been stopped at Hetampur railway station in Morena, Madhya Pradesh. The fire brigade is on the spot to douse the fire there. The cause of the fire has not been disclosed.
According to the information, the fire has started on train 20848 Durg-Udhampur Express. The train was going from Delhi to Durg. As soon as the information was received, 5 vehicles of the fire brigade have reached the spot and are engaged in controlling the fire. It is a matter of relief that no one was injured in this accident. All the passengers got out of the train in time. No casualties have been reported so far. The cause of the fire in the train could not be ascertained.
According to the information received from Morena, the fire started in the AC coaches. The train was going from Udhampur ie Vaishno Devi to Chhattisgarh via Delhi. The fire brigade has brought the fire under control. These coaches have since been separated.
