Van der Dussen scored 75 runs

 

Van der Dussen and David Miller turned the match in Africa's court. At one time it seemed that Team India would easily win this match, but Van der Dussen played brilliant innings of 75 not out off 46 balls. He hit 7 fours and 5 sixes in his innings. At the same time, David Miller played an unbeaten 64 off 34 balls while maintaining his excellent form in the IPL. He hit 4 fours and 5 sixes in his innings.

 

Team India missed the record of winning 13 matches

 

With this defeat, Team India missed out on making a record of winning 13 consecutive matches in T20 Internationals. South Africa beat India by 7 wickets in the first match of the five-match series. Batting first, India lost the toss and scored 211 for four wickets at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Ishan Kishan scored the highest 76 runs.
