On the other hand, the number of people affected by Corona in India also crossed 1.5 crores on Sunday. So far, 1 crore 50 lakh 57 thousand 767 people have been infected. It is a matter of some relief that 1 crore 29 lakh 48 thousand 848 people have been cured among them. The number of people who lost their lives to infection has now gone to 1 lakh 78 thousand 793. In this way, there are 19 lakh 23 thousand 877 active cases i.e. patients who are currently being treated. This figure of the active case is the highest after America.
2.74 lakh new patients found in 24 hours
The worsening situation in the country can be gauged from the fact that every day the figure of new patients of Corona is creating a new record. Within the last 24 hours, 2 lakh 74 thousand 944 people were found to be Corona positive in the country. Meanwhile, 1 lakh 43 thousand 701 people recovered while 1620 patients died. Now 11 thousand people are getting infected in every 10 lakh population, while 129 people are losing their lives.

Lockdown in Delhi from today to April 26
The lockdown will be held in the country's capital Delhi from 10 am tonight to 5 am on April 26. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced it after a meeting with Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal.
Kejriwal said, "The fourth wave has come to Delhi. Eight and a half thousand cases were coming daily in the third wave. The health system was paralyzed in six thousand cases in many major cities of the world. Now, in the fourth wave, 25 thousand cases are coming to Delhi every day, so our health system is under stress. It has reached its limit. If drastic steps are not taken after this, the system will collapse. Oxygen ran out in a hospital yesterday. There was a big accident left. "
79.25% of new patients met in 10 states alone
On Sunday, 79.25% of cases of the corona were reported in 10 states of the country. The highest number of cases were 68,631 in Maharashtra, 30,566 in Uttar Pradesh, 25,462 in Delhi, 19,067 in Karnataka, 18,257 in Kerala, 12,345 in Chhattisgarh, 12,248 in Madhya Pradesh, 10,723 in Tamil Nadu, 10,514 in Rajasthan, and 10,340 in Gujarat. The same number of deaths have also taken place in these states. 503 people died in Maharashtra. 161 deaths were recorded in Delhi and 127 in Uttar Pradesh.
Corona Updates
Director General (DG) of ICMR, Dr. Balaram Bhargava said that the oxygen demand has increased in this wave of Corona. However, the good thing is that there has been no difference in the statistics of deaths from corona in the first phase and this phase. Dr. Bhargava said that the number of patients with severe and more problems has increased. Due to this, there is more congestion in hospitals.
Because of the increasing cases of the corona, the Rajasthan government has decided to keep the lockdown across the state till 3 May. Weekend curfew restrictions will remain in place for 15 days. The Home Department has released new guidelines for the night till 3 May on Sunday.
The central government has issued a directive to the states. The Health Ministry has asked all states and union territories that night curfew, lockdown, and vaccinations among other restrictions should not be affected. State governments should keep in mind that there is no problem in reaching the center of people connected with vaccination.
Night curfew has been imposed in Bihar from 9 am to 5 am. Along with this, schools, cinema halls, and religious places have been instructed to remain closed till May 15. Thousands of people are returning to Bihar every day from other states. This is causing heavy congestion at the railway station. There is also a risk of infection.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the JEE Main 2021 examination to be held in late April. Two sessions of the examination have been conducted in February and March. The agency postponed the exam 10 days ago due to the demand of students and parents amid the second wave of Corona. The examinations were to be held from 27 to 30 April. The new dates of the exam are not fixed yet, but they will be announced 15 days before the exam.
The conditions of Corona in Delhi are getting worse day by day. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal told a press conference on Sunday that about 25 and a half thousand cases of corona have been reported in Delhi in the last 24 hours. Cases are increasing very rapidly.
Kejriwal said that Corona beds are getting depleted at a very fast pace, ICU beds have come down significantly. There are less than 100 ICU beds left in the whole of Delhi. There is also a shortage of oxygen. We are constantly in touch with the central government and we are getting help from the central government.
The Delhi government has ordered the mandatory implementation of tests, tracing, and isolation for people joining Haridwar Kumbh. Under this, people returning from Haridwar Kumbh after April 4 will have to be home quarantined for 14 days.

1.Maharashtra
68,631 new patients were found here on Sunday. 45,654 patients recovered and 503 died. So far, 38.39 lakh people have been affected by the epidemic in the state. Of these, 31.06 lakh people have recovered, while 59,970 have died. Currently, about 6.70 lakh people are being treated here.
2. Uttar Pradesh
Corona report of 30,566 people came positive on Sunday. 9,041 people recovered and 127 died. So far, 8.51 lakh people have been found infected here. Of these, 6.50 lakh have been cured, while 9,830 patients died. 1.91 lakh patients are undergoing treatment.
3. Delhi
On Sunday, 25,462 people were found corona infected in the state. 20,159 people recovered and 161 died. So far, 8.79 lakh people have been infected here. Of this, 7.66 lakh have been cured, while 12,121 patients lost their lives. 74,941 patients are undergoing treatment.
4. Chhattisgarh
On Sunday, 12,345 people were found corona infected in the state. During this, 14,556 people recovered and 170 died. The state is undergoing treatment for 1.28 lakh people. A total of 4.10 lakh people have been cured, while the figure for total deaths has reached 5,908.
5. Madhya Pradesh
On Sunday, 12,248 people were found corona infected in the state. 7495 people recovered and 66 died. So far, 4.08 lakh people have been infected by the infection here. Of these, 3.34 lakh people have been cured. 4,557 patients lost their lives. 68,576 patients are undergoing treatment.
6. Gujarat
On Sunday, 10,340 people were found corona infected in the state. 3,981 people recovered and 110 died. To date, 4.04 lakh people have been affected by the infection here. Of these, 3.37 lakh have been cured, while 5,377 patients died. 61,647 patients are undergoing treatment.
