But the Sutak of today's solar eclipse will not be valid in the rest of the country except Ladakh and Arunachal, because the eclipse will not be visible in other places.
What is a solar eclipse?
When the Moon comes between the Earth and the Sun, it is called a solar eclipse. During this, the light coming from the sun does not reach the earth due to the moon coming in the middle and the shadow of the moon falls on the earth. The Earth revolves around the Sun and the Moon revolves around the Earth. Because of this, all three sometimes come in line with each other. For these reasons, solar and lunar eclipses occur.

When the Moon comes in between the Sun and the Earth while staying very close to the Earth. During this, the Moon completely covers the Earth in its shadow. Due to this, the sunlight does not reach the earth. This astronomical event is called a total solar eclipse.
Annular Solar Eclipse: In this situation, the Moon comes between the Earth and the Sun, but there is a great distance between the two. The Moon does not completely cover the Sun and only the outer layer of the Sun shines. Which is visible in the form of a ring. This is called an annular solar eclipse.
Khandagras Solar Eclipse: In this astronomical event, the Moon comes between the Sun and the Earth in such a way that only a small part of the Sun is covered by its shadow. During this time most of the Sun is visible from Earth. This is called Khandagras solar eclipse.

Mostly a solar eclipse occurs twice a year. This number can go up to a maximum of 5, but it is very rare.
