Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap said that the ITBP, Special Home Guard contingent has also been included in the rescue team. He said that all the teams are working together in the rescue operations. All basic facilities including ambulances have been included in the rescue operation.

After heavy rains, the water level of the Parvati River has also risen above the danger mark. People from all the areas on the river bank including Jiya and Bhuntar have been appealed to vacate their houses and go to a safe place. Along with this, the water level in Vyas and Tirthan rivers has also increased. Everyone has been appealed to stay at safe places away from the rivers and drains.
8-10 houses have been washed away in Bagipul of Nirmand area of Kullu district. This includes Patwar Khana, hotels, and shops. Seven to ten people are reported missing in Bagipul.
