The heat has not started properly in Bihar and the water crisis has deepened in Gaya city of the state. Crores of rupees have been spent in the name of water supply in the city, but the water crisis is not taking its name. Once the summer starts, the water crisis has deepened in many mohallas of ward number 6 of the district once again. More than 25 thousand population of Warisnagar, Sanjay Nagar, Vageshwari, Bomb Baba Mohalla are worried about water.
Smelly water for 10 days
Water supply is available in many neighborhoods from Warisnagar and Panchayati Arena Water Supply Centers. But for the last 10 days, both the water supply centers have been supplying smelly water. Ward councilor Rupa Devi says that this problem has arisen due to being close to Falgu and due to disturbances in the layer. About 25 thousand people are affected. People of the same locality say that supply water has remained the only support and that it is in a bad condition for the last 10 days. But no search came to take the news. We complain to the ward councilor again and again and the corporator corporation complains, but no hearing is being held. Boring was done by Budco in Warisnagar about a year ago. There has also been work in the Panchayati Arena Water Supply Center recently, but to no avail.
Keeping his point, Councilor Rupa Devi of Ward 6 said that dirty water has been coming from Sanjay Nagar, Chhotki Nawada, Bageshwari, Bomb Baba for 10 days. We have also complained about the corporation, but no action has been taken so far. At the same time, Raj Mania Devi, a resident of Sanjay Nagar told that we are dependent on the supply and the supply water has been coming dirty for 10 days. Not drinkable Somehow, drinking hot.
At the same time, Abhay Rai of Vageshwari took out his anger and said that the supply water is coming dirty and the well has also dried up. We are knowing how we are drinking water. Budko is not worried.
Babita Devi of Sanjay Nagar, suffering from a water crisis, said that all the poor people live in our locality. Where did we get the water from? Supply water is the support and it has been coming yellow and smelly for 10 days. Nobody is going to listen.
Spend more than 100 crores, yet supply is not right
The Municipal Corporation has spent about Rs 100 crore in the last 4 years to fix the water supply of Gaya city. Despite this, the water supply situation has not yet been corrected in the city. Now, water supply has been taken over by Budco and a budget of about 400 crores has also been kept for this, but the water crisis in the city is not taking the name of reducing it. Lalji Prasad, a philanthropist and former councilor of ward number 22, says that there has been a big game in the water supply case. Millions of rupees worth of boring purchases were made and put to rot. The commission is uncovered to such an extent that different types of work are being given continuously to the same supply company.
People have created uproar due to shortage of water
As the summer season approaches, water problem has started coming up in the Guru block area. The Mushar caste people of dozen poor families of Phulsathar village of Chilor Panchayat of Guruia block came to the block headquarters on Wednesday to discuss the shortage of water. There was a deep resentment among the Mushar families in the demand of removing the water problem. People told that they got a colony to live in. But here only a handpick has been installed for the convenience of water. Which is bad for the days to come. Have to wander here and there for water. They are not getting the proper benefits from the tap water scheme. The tap water scheme has become useless for them. Distressed by the scarcity of water and housing, the people of the Musahar families created a ruckus at the block headquarters. However, due to the non-availability of BDO in the Block Headquarters, the Mushars, who were making a ruckus, returned home without meeting the BDO.
