The Omicron variant running in China caused havoc, and killed many famous artists, actors, and opera singers

According to a report by the global television network NTD, the recent outbreak of Omicron infection in China has caused the death of famous artists, actors, opera singers, film directors, and writers. This is the report of NTD, a global television network based in New York.

 

Covid infections also claimed the death of several actors in China, including Zhang Mu, Ren Jun, Chu Lanlan, Cheng Jinhua, Yu Yuheng, Xiong Yingzheng, Hou Menglan, and Zhao Zhiyuan.

 

Actor Zhang Mu, who played Mao Zedong in several CCP films, passed away at the age of 92. Zhang was a calligrapher and director of the China Opera and Dance Drama Theater opera troupe.

 

Many opera artists became victims of Corona

According to NTD reports, Song Changrong is commonly known as Song Baoguang. He was a Peking opera artist who died on 16 December at the age of 87. Song served as the deputy director of and was also a member of the Jiangsu Provincial Association of Stage Performers. Ren Jun, a Peking opera artist who was admired by early CCP leaders Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai, died in Beijing on 17 December at the age of 103.
