Olena Zelenska was born in Krivy Riho, Soviet Ukraine. Both of them met in high school and after that, both of them took admitted to 'Krivi Riho Economic Institute'. Olena studied architecture here, while President Zelensky studied law. The two dated each other for 8 years and then got married in September 2003. The couple has two children, a daughter named Oleksandra and a son named Kyrylo.

In 2018 Volodymyr entered politics. He created the 'Servant of the People Party and announced his candidacy for the presidency. He became the President of Ukraine by getting 73 percent of the vote in the election.
