According to the European Mediterranean Seismology Center (EMSC), an earthquake of magnitude 5.7 occurred in the eastern Turkiye region. The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 46 km (28.58 mi). Earlier this morning also a magnitude 5.6 earthquake struck central Turkey.
