The owner of a house located near the Shiv-Hanuman temple in Sambhal removed a portion of his house by covering it to prevent debris from falling on the temple and nearby buildings. The local administration has continued the anti-encroachment campaign in Sambhal.

Campaign launched for encroachment.

The municipality took strict action against illegal encroachment in the city and launched a large-scale encroachment removal campaign on Monday. Under this campaign, illegal constructions made on the road and drains in the area of the SP MLA were demolished. In these, slabs and stairs built in front of houses and shops were demolished with the help of bulldozers. Heavy PAC force was deployed during the action. At the same time, some people were seen as angry with this action.

The team of the municipality has been running the campaign.

After this, the team headed towards Agenti Tiraha. There, people had made slabs in front of their shops in large numbers, due to which the road had become narrow. There was a problem of jams here all the time. The bulldozer started breaking all the slabs that were under encroachment at Agenti Tiraha. Seeing this, other people took hammers from their shops and houses and started breaking their stairs themselves.

At the same time, some shopkeepers tried to ask for time from the team of the municipality, but the officials clearly said that now no concession would be given. Said that announcements have been made in the city for the last one month. Even after the warning, the encroachment was not removed. During the operation, heavy police and PAC forces were deployed for security.

A crowd of people gathered.
