Minister of State for IT and Information Technology Rajiv Chandrashekhar said that it is expected that Twitter will follow the IT rules of India. He said that the laws are not going to change according to the owner of the platform.
Rajiv Chandrashekhar clearly said that he does not care to change the owner of Twitter. He said, 'India has its law. Everyone has to follow this law. During this, the Union Minister of State was asked a question regarding the ban on the Twitter account of some Indians including actress Kangana Ranaut. On this, he said that soon a new IT rule will be brought, which will apply to everyone.
Kangana's Twitter account is suspended
It is worth noting that in May last year, Kangana Ranaut's Twitter account was permanently suspended for violating the rules. Kangana shared the user's post on Instagram Stories today. Kangana also shared the headline of a news article which read, Elon Musk takes charge of Twitter and removes other high-ranking people including CEO Parag Agarwal. Further, Kangana has shared the clapping emoji.
