
There have been reports of a massive fire on the set of the popular television serial Anupamaa. The incident took place on Monday. A fire was reported on the set of the TV serial in Film City, Mumbai on Monday morning.
It is being said that the fire broke out on the set of Anupama on June 23 just before the shooting. However, there is no news of any casualties yet.
The fire broke out in the tent area of the set.
Civic officials said that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) received information about a fire in the tent area of Anupamaa behind the Marathi Bigg Boss set located at Dada Saheb Phalke Chitranagari of Film City in Goregaon at 6.10 am.
Four fire engines and several large tankers were rushed to the spot. A municipal corporation official said that an assistant divisional fire officer and three station officers have been deployed at the spot, where the work of extinguishing the fire is going on.
The fire broke out two hours before the shoot.
According to reports, the fire broke out around 5:00 am and the set was completely burnt down just two hours before the shoot began. When the incident happened, several crew members and workers were preparing for the shoot. Thankfully, there are no reports of anyone being injured or casualty.
Rupali Ganguly starrer Anupamaa is one of the most-watched shows on television and has a huge fan following who wait for the new episode every day. Now it remains to be seen how the fire on the set affects the show. However, it is expected that it will be repaired soon.
