Pakistan has announced its 15-man squad for the Asia Cup on Wednesday (August 3). At the same time, according to the report, the Indian team can also announce the team on Monday. The deadline for announcing the squad for the Asia Cup is August 8. Three matches of the ongoing five-match T20 series against West Indies have been played. The fourth and fifth matches will be played on August 6 and 7. This series will end on 7 and according to a report in InsideSport, the BCCI will reveal the team on Monday.
According to the website, the selection committee will meet in Mumbai, and captain Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid will join it through video conferencing. Arshdeep, who played his first T20 match against England, has been given a chance in all three matches in the T20 series against West Indies and Asia. His name is also in discussion for the cup.
