International Friendship Day 2023: Your relationship with parents and family gets linked with birth. But friendship is such a relationship, which people make with themselves for the first time. This is a relationship based on your feelings. In childhood, a child connects with his heart to another child and goes to play with him. Both like each other's company, so they start playing with each other every day. This is what friendship is. The same feeling is seen among people even when they grow up. From home and neighborhood to school-college and office, you can get the support of a good friend. You share your heart with a friend. Confide in him, and share your dreams and secrets. A friend also encourages you and advises you on doing wrong. If you also have such a friend, then July 30 is the day to celebrate this friendship.

International Friendship Day was first proposed by the World Friendship Crusade on 30 July 1958. It is an international civil organization. Although officially celebrating International Friendship Day started in the year 2011. The United Nations promoted this day to strengthen friendship and its importance.

 

Why was the celebration of Friendship Day started?

 

International Friendship Day is an initiative taken by UNESCO to spread the culture of peace, in which this day came into existence as a solution to spread the message of happiness and unity through friendship in all the countries of the world.

 

How is International Friendship Day celebrated?

 

On this day people hang out with their friends and spend time with each other in parties and other ways. Expressing your feelings further strengthens the relationship of friendship.
