Schools and other educational institutions will not be closed. According to DDMA, this decision has been taken after initial indications of new variants B. 1.10, B.1.12 of Kovid-19.

170% increase in weekly cases in Delhi
According to the Health Secretary, the number of new cases in Delhi in the week ended April 12 was 998, which has increased to 2,671 on April 19. An increase of 1.42% has also been seen in the Kovid positivity rate here. The figure was 3.49% last week.
In Haryana, 521 new cases were found in the week ending April 12, which increased to 1,299 till April 19. The positivity rate has increased from 1.22% last week to 2.86%. At the same time, in the week ending 12 April in Uttar Pradesh, the number of new cases was 217, which increased to 637 by 19 April. Here the positivity rate was 0.03% last week, which has increased to 0.09%.
