Coronavirus Updates: Corona cases increased by about 66 percent in 24 hours across the country, more than two thousand new cases registered

The cases of the coronavirus in the country have increased rapidly. In the last 24 hours, there has been a big jump in the cases of the coronavirus. The Health Ministry said that 2,067 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the country. 820 more cases have been reported today than yesterday i.e. Tuesday. Let us inform you that yesterday 1,247 new cases of the corona were reported across the country. While only one person had died.

The Health Ministry said that 40 patients have also died in the last 24 hours. So far 5,22,006 people have died due to corona in the country. At the same time, 1,547 people have been discharged during this period. A total of 4,25,13,248 people have recovered so far. With this, the active cases have now increased to 12,340. So far 4,30,47,594 cases of corona have been reported in the country.

On the other hand, the central government has written a letter to the states regarding the increasing cases of the corona. The central government on Tuesday advised to keep a close watch on Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Maharashtra, and Mizoram and take precautionary measures if required. The Center has advised them to focus their efforts on monitoring the of new cases and contain the spread of the infection, with the introduction of primary vaccination and vigilance doses.

 

In the letter, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan advised Delhi and the four states to follow the strategy to test, track, treat, vaccinate and follow COVID appropriate behavior. Which also includes placing special emphasis on people wearing masks in the crowd. Bhushan said in the letter that the states must maintain strict vigil.
