According to the information, Civil Judge Junior Division Court Judge Jyotsna Rai did not reach her court on Saturday morning. Fellow judges called his number, but it was not received. According to the employees, the door of the judge's residence was locked from inside. When the door did not open even after calling, the police were informed.

On receiving information about the incident, all the officers including DM Manoj Kumar and SSP Alok Priyadarshi reached there. A forensic team was called to the spot.
