A record of 5,427 new patients was found in the state on Thursday. This is the first time since December 4 that more than 5 thousand new patients have been met in a day in the state. So far, 20 lakh 81 thousand 520 people have been affected by the infection in the state. Out of these 19 lakh 87 thousand 804 people have been cured, while 51 thousand 669 patients died. There are 40 thousand 858 patients who are undergoing treatment.
More than 12 thousand cases in the last 24 hours
On Thursday, a total of 12,826 new patients were found in the country. 10,489 were cured and 86 infected lost their lives. So far, 1.09 crore cases of Corona have been reported. Of these, 1.06 crore patients have been cured. 1.56 lakh have lost their lives, while 1.36 lakh are undergoing treatment.
Vaccination figure crosses ten million
Today, the number of vaccine recipients in the country has crossed 1 crore. So far more than 10 million 88 thousand health care and front line workers have been vaccinated. It took 34 days to deliver the vaccine to so many people. So far more than 62 lakh health care workers and more than 31 lakh front line workers have been vaccinated. 4.64 lakh health care workers have also received the second dose of vaccine.

Because of the increasing corona cases in Maharashtra, there will be a lockdown in Amravati every Saturday night from 8 am to 7 am. Akola will also have a lockdown every Sunday. At the same time, restrictions have also been increased in Yavatmal. It has been decided to close all schools and colleges here till 28 February. Only 50% of the people will be able to come to the restaurant, function hall. There will be a restriction on the gathering of more than 5 people anywhere.
BMC released new guidelines in Mumbai. Accordingly, if 5 or more cases are found in a building, the building will be sealed. The home-quarantined patient will have a stamp on the back of the hand. 300 marshals will be appointed to keep an eye on those traveling without applying face masks on the local train.

4. Gujarat
On Wednesday, 263 people were found corona infected. 270 people recovered and one died. So far, 2 lakh 66 thousand 297 people have been infected. Of these, 2 lakh 60 thousand 198 people have been cured, while 4403 patients have died. 1,696 patients are undergoing treatment.
5. Rajasthan
On Thursday, 104 people in the state were found corona infected. 77 people recovered and one died. So far, 3 lakh 19 thousand 270 people have been infected. Of these, 3 lakh 15 thousand 212 people have been cured, while 2,783 patients have died. 1,275 patients are undergoing treatment.
