The Brihanmumbai Maha Municipal Corporation (BMC) has been successful in putting a brake on the speed of Corona in Mumbai. Instead of taking the patients to the hospital, the people of BMC used the method of screening and treating them at their homes. For this reason, the corona here is now under rapid control.
The Supreme Court too had recently praised this method of BMC and asked other cities including Delhi to follow it. In this system of BMC, 'Ward wise rooms' set up by the Municipal Corporation at the departmental level are also playing an important role. It is planned to handle 10,000 patients.

At present, 80% of the beds of 35 large and 100 small hospitals in Mumbai are controlled by the Municipal Corporation. The rate of health services in these hospitals has been fixed. All beds are managed from the ward war room.

As soon as this was noticed, oxygen tanks of 13 to 26 thousand liters capacity were installed in all the hospitals in the municipal area. Centralized oxygen is being supplied in most hospitals.
Mumbai leads in vaccination. To reduce the death rate, 'Mission Zero' is being implemented. Under the 'Mera Parivar Meri Jyoti' campaign, up to 35.10 lakh households have been inspected by health workers and health messengers. Based on their gathering information, 51 thousand people who have been victims of infection have been successful in finding it. Action has been taken on 27 lakh people who did not apply masks. He was also given a mask. This helped to control the number of patients.
Reaching patients first is our priority: Suresh Kakani, Additional Commissioner of Suresh Kakani Municipal Corporation, said, 'Corona infection is happening in large quantities. He further explained that during which there was a shortage of Remedesivir at all places. At that time it was available in municipal hospitals.
People interrupted us by making arrangements in advance, but we did not stop: Mayor Kishori Pednekar of Mumbai told, "We were careful from the beginning. Insisted on maintaining continuity in the work. There was no shortage of medicine and oxygen in any hospital. Some people initially tried to build an oxygen plant, but we saved the lives of patients by building an oxygen plant.
