Recently US President Donald Trump said that he could ban TickTalk. The software maker is considering buying Microsoft TicketLock. In this connection, Microsoft's chief executive officer Satya Nadella spoke to Donald Trump on Sunday. Trump said that if this deal happens then the government should be given a substantial portion of the deal. Following a conversation with President Trump, the company has released a statement in the form of a blog, stating that they are ready to openly discuss the government on the benefits that the US can gain from buying TickTalk.
The company said that it appreciates the President's concerns about the country. Microsoft said, "By September 15, Tittock's owner, Bydtance, will complete its negotiations with the deal. Meanwhile, the Microsoft company will continue to discuss this with the US government and the president. The discussion with Byte Dance will be based on a notification issued by Microsoft and ByteDance and will be sent to CFIUS, the US foreign investment committee. Microsoft has stated that it intends to purchase TickTock in the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand markets as well.
The company has said that other investors in the US can also be asked to invest in it. TicketLock's new structure will be made keeping in mind the existing choice of users, with special attention to privacy and digital security. The new system created by the company will keep transparency with the users as well as the government.
The company will take special care that the data of US citizens is transferred to the US and after the transfer, the company will delete all the data from another server. The company has also praised President Trump and the government's intervention in this matter. Some investors at Ticketock's own company have valued the US version of Ticketock at close to $ 50 billion. In the eyes of many market influencers, it is being said more.
Tim Kalpan of 'Bloomberg' says that Ticketock has overvalued its price. In his view, it is not worth much. At the same time, talking about Satya Nadella, the CEO of the Microsoft company, he is famous for making many big deals for the company.
Everyone's eyes are on Satya Nadella
The whole world is eyeing Satya Nadella regarding the ticket deal. Nadella has completed several major deals since the company took over as CEO in 2014. Nadella brought the company from PC operating to cloud computing. He completed many famous deals such as the Swedish game company, the Peshawar network site LinkedIn. It is believed that this ticket deal can prove to be the biggest deal of the century. But Microsoft will need the approval of the US Administration to complete the deal. A Financial Times report says that some executives of the ByteDance company believe that Microsoft could help the deal take a better position after President Trump's intervention.
Trump has demanded a share
US President Donald Trump has said that he will approve Microsoft's deal to buy Tiktok, but in return, he wants to pay money to his US government. Trump made his statement on Sunday. Trump also said that the US government should get a big part of it because this deal is being completed only because of us. He said, "They don't have any rights until we give them the rights. It's like a relationship between the landlord and the tenant - when a tenant doesn't have the lees then it's called 'key-money' Something has to be paid. "
Howard University law professor John Cott says "Under CFIUS laws, a president has no such statutory right to ask for money from the company. The US Congress has never asked an officer or an agency for a deal Has not been appointed to take a cut or to take a bribe. Just because the money from this deal will go to the US fund does not make it legal. Any kind of tax can only be levied by the US Congress, not the President. "
