He said that Samay Raina's lawyer has met senior police officials and sought more time. Samay Raina is currently in America. At the request of the lawyer, the police have given him time till March 10 to record his statement.

Ranveer Allahabadia had earlier requested Khar police to record his statement at his residence, but his request was rejected. Police went to his flat in the Versova area on Friday, but found it locked. Maharashtra Cyber Cell has summoned at least 50 people to record statements in the case registered in this regard.
