After the controversy over the use of animal fat in Tirupati's famous Laddu Prasadam, now the temple administration has said that the sanctity of the Prasad has been restored. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) has said that now the Prasad is completely pure and untainted. The Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple located on the hills of Tirumala is managed by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board (TTD). In a post shared on social media on Friday night, TTD wrote that 'The divinity and sanctity of Srivari Laddu is now untainted. TTD is committed to protecting the sanctity of Laddu Prasadam for the satisfaction of all devotees.'

On Friday, the temple management body revealed that samples tested for quality revealed that substandard ghee was being used to make Prasad's Laddu, in which the presence of animal fat has been detected. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has also made this claim. There was resentment across the country over this. At the same time, the YSRCP party, which is on the back foot after the allegations, has accused the current TDP government and called it TDP's misleading politics. YSRCP called the CM's allegations fabricated.
The Center also sought a report on the controversy.
It is worth noting that the central government has also sought a report from the Andhra Pradesh government on the controversy over the Tirupati temple prasad and promised appropriate action after the investigation. Citing the laboratory report on Friday, TTD said that 'lard' (pig fat) and other impurities have been found in the ghee. TTD Executive Officer J Shyamala Rao said that the laboratory investigation has revealed the presence of animal fat in selected samples and the board is in the process of blacklisting the contractor who supplied 'adulterated' ghee.
