According to Govinda's manager Shashi Sinha, the actor was leaving for Kolkata in the morning. Shashi Sinha was at the airport at that time. Govinda told him, 'You get the boarding done, we are also reaching'. When Govinda was leaving the house, suddenly the revolver slipped from his hand and there was a misfire. The bullet hit his leg. According to Govinda's manager Shashi Sinha, 'The revolver fell on the ground and there was a misfire. Govinda is now out of danger'.

The police have seized Govinda's licensed revolver. Statements of the actor's family and other people will be recorded in this case. Currently, no one is allowed to meet Govinda. He is undergoing treatment in the ICU. After the accident, the Mumbai Crime Branch team went to the hospital. The Crime Branch will investigate the case.
