Rahul won with the support of communal forces: CPI (M)
During a CPI (M) event in Wayanad on Saturday, Vijayraghavan claimed that Rahul Gandhi won this seat twice with the support of communal forces and extremist elements were present in Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's election rallies.

IUML leader PK Kunhalikutty said that claiming that Rahul and Priyanka's victory was due to minority communalism is an attempt to incite majority communalism. The BJP adopts a similar strategy across the country. The CPI(M) is now using the same in Kerala.
