Rajapaksa tried to hit a six in the direction of mid-wicket to take Sri Lanka to a good score, but the ball was about to reach Asif Ali's hands before the boundary when Shadab Khan dived from the other side and collided with Asif. The collision was so strong that blood started coming out of Shadab's nose. Due to this the game had to be stopped for 10 to 15 minutes.
This catch was very heavy for Pakistan. Rajapaksa was batting on 57 at this time. After this, he scored 14 runs in the last over, due to which Sri Lanka's score reached 170.
