After the violence in Delhi on Tuesday, Home Minister Amit Shah called a high-level meeting. Shah ordered additional companies of paramilitary forces to be sent to the capital. Farmer leader said - Law not broken: On the violent incidents during the tractor parade, the leaders of United Kisan Morcha said that the law has not been broken on our behalf. Bhartiya Kisan Union spokesperson Rakesh Tikait said, '32 farmers associations were following the route set by the police for the tractor parade. We know who is trying to interrupt. Delhi Police bid - Tractors took off route: On violence during the parade, Delhi Police Commissioner SN Srivastava said, 'The timing and route of the tractor rally was decided after several rounds of talks. But, the farmers started the rally ahead of time and took the tractor off the fixed route. This led to violence, in which many policemen were injured.
Shah called the meeting, summoned the report: Because of the deteriorating situation in Delhi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah called an emergency meeting at 5 pm on Tuesday. Top officials of Delhi Police, Intelligence, and Home Ministry were present in the meeting. Home Ministry Secretary Ajay Bhalla informed Shah about the situation in Delhi.
