The United Nations has expressed concern over the spread of hate and misinformation on social media networks. UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said on Tuesday that we are deeply concerned about how social media platforms create an environment that spreads hatred and disinformation.

The spokesperson of the United Nations made this comment at that time. When Elon Musk's company Twitter dissolved its Trust and Safety Council. Stephane Dujarric said in a press briefing that we are very concerned about how an environment is being created on social media platforms that spread hatred and misinformation. He said that I think it is the responsibility of social media companies to make sure that this does not happen.

Dujarric pointed out that the secretary-general did not comment on Twitter's new technological changes. Twitter on Monday scrapped the company's Trust and Safety Council, responsible for dealing with harassment and child abuse. This step has been taken by Twitter owner Elon Musk, who recently bought Twitter.
