According to a Reuters report, Zydus Cadila will start making 10 million doses every month from October.

Children suffering from serious diseases can get the benefit first
The committee advising the government on Covid-19 vaccination last month had suggested that initially children above 12 years of age who have serious diseases should be vaccinated. The committee had said that there are 40 crore children in the country and if vaccination of all is started, then the already running 18+ vaccination will be affected. Committee chairman NK Arora had said that completely healthy children will have to wait for vaccination.
