Kohli-Anushka spent three and a half hours at Sant Premanand's ashram.
Kohli and Anushka spent more than three and a half hours at Sant Premanand's ashram. Both reached the ashram at around six in the morning and left from there at around nine and a half. This is not the first time that Virat has come to meet Sant Premanand. He had earlier come to meet him in January 2023 in January this year. Now, after retiring from Test cricket, he had an in-depth discussion with Sant Premanand. During this, Virat asked how to get out of failure? To this, Premanand said to keep practicing.
Key points from Saint Premanand's conversation with Virat-Anushka
Saint Premanand: Are you happy?
Virat Kohli: Yes, I am fine.
Saint Premanand: Yes, one should remain fine. We tell you the law of our Lord. When the Lord blesses someone, getting this glory is not a blessing; it is a virtue. Even a grave sinner gets glory by virtue. This increase in glory or fame is not considered to be God's grace. Changing the inner thoughts is considered to be the grace of God. Due to this, the sanskars of your infinite births get destroyed, and the next one will be the best. It happens due to inner thoughts, nothing happens from outside. The inner thoughts have become our nature to be intolerant. Intolerant means outside. Outside means fame, glory, profit, victory, and we get happiness from this. No one cares from inside. Now, what happens is that when God blesses, then the saint gives a meeting. The second time when he blesses, he gives adversity and then gives a way from inside. This is the way to ultimate peace. God gives the way to peace and calls the soul to himself. Without adversity, the attachment to the world does not get destroyed. If someone has renunciation, then he becomes renunciation after seeing the adversity of the world. If everything is favorable to us, then we enjoy it happily; when adversity comes upon us, then we get hurt that this world is so false. After this, God gives a way from inside that this is right. There is no medicine to get rid of this world without adversity. To date, all the great men whose lives have changed, their lives have changed after experiencing adversity. So whenever adversity comes, be happy and understand that now God is blessing me. I am getting inspiration to walk on the right path. Reform yourself, bring your life to the truth, and then the next one will be very powerful. If you do not attain God in this birth, then Lord Krishna has said in the Gita - A devotee does not perish. I was birth into a noble, wealthy family, and then again provided an environment of devotion. I raised the bhajan that was left from the past there. Live exactly as you are living, live completely worldly, but try to change your inner thoughts. There should not be a feeling of increasing wealth in your inner thoughts. Think in the inner thoughts - Lord, many births have passed, now I want to meet you once. Now I only want you, not the world. So this will make things work. Therefore, chant the name of God happily, do not worry at all. Anushka Sharma: Baba, will it happen by chanting the name?
Saint Premanand: Complete. This is my life experience. I have entered into all four yogas, Sankhyoga, Ashtangyoga, Karmayoga, and Bhaktiyoga. There is no one more knowledgeable than Lord Shankar himself. There is no one more knowledgeable than Sankadi. Sankadi always chants 'Harisharanam, Harisharanam'. Lord Shiva keeps chanting Ram Ram Ram Ram. We, the residents of Vrindavan, worshippers of Priya Pritam, chant Radha Radha. The Ra and Dha in Ram are the things that give joy. We have had a logical mind, not a devotee mind. So if you chant Radha Radha, then you will attain Bhagavat in this very birth. If our last breath says Radha, then you will directly attain Shri Ji, you will attain God. There is no doubt in this, and there is no need for any means. If you are writing Radha, then the mind will not run away. So whether you write it 10 times or 100 times, make it a practice. After taking a bath, etc., write Radha-Radha and then meditate on it. Make this your life, and then you will see the result yourself. It is not a loss-making deal. All right.
After this Virat and Anushka bowed their heads in front of Saint Premanand and saluted him. Then the saints covered Anushka and Virat with a chunari. Saint Premanand said, be very happy and keep chanting the name of God.
