Former fast bowler Mohammed Shami was heartbroken after Pakistan's five-wicket defeat in the final match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 and tweeted his pain. Team India's senior fast bowler Mohammad Shami gave such an answer, which the controversy has started. After Shami's answer, former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram said that it is not the right thing to do. Akram also said that Indian cricketers are patriotic for their country and Pakistani cricketers for their country, but such tweets should not happen.

As soon as Shoaib Akhtar tweeted a broken heart, Mohammed Shami replied without delay, 'Hello brother....this is called KARMA'. During The Pavilion Show on A Sports, Akram said, 'We should remain neutral in these matters. Indians are patriots for their country, I have no problem with that and we are patriots for our country. But pouring oil on the burning, tweeting tweets... don't do this man.

Former Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq was also a part of the show and added, "You shouldn't be tweeting like this just for a few likes." Cricketers may play for any country, we are all one family. So we should respect each other and share our thoughts thoughtfully. We have some responsibility of our own.
