Meteorologists said, Monsoon trough is active here and lies south of its normal position, which will remain so for the next three days.
Chance of rain with thunder in these states
According to the bulletin issued by the Indian Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in different areas of West Bengal from 11th to 13th. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain for two to three days in Jharkhand, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in isolated parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Konkan, Goa. Apart from this, rain is also expected in the Coastal Ghats areas of Gujarat, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu.
Orange alert in Uttarakhand
The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in Uttarakhand's Dehradun, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Uttarkashi, and Rudraprayag due to the possibility of very heavy rains today.
