In the 35th match of IPL 2023, Gujarat Titans defeated Mumbai Indians by 55 runs. The match was played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In this match, Mumbai won the toss and decided to bowl first. The host team came out to bat and scored a huge score of 207 runs.

 

Gujarat did wonders in both the departments

For Gujarat, opener Shubman Gill scored a brilliant 56 off 34 balls. At the same time, there was a half-century partnership between David Miller and Abhinav Manohar. David Miller played a brilliant inning of 46 off 22 balls. In this match, two Gujarat spinners Rashid Khan and Noor Mohammad bowled brilliantly. Both took five wickets together.

In the post-match presentation after the match, Gujarat captain Hardik Pandya said, "We aim to go according to the situation, captaincy runs in my mind, we are succeeding in it. Whatever call I take, it is my and Ashish Nehra Bhai's decision is taken, our mind runs equally.

 

Hardik praised Abhinav Manohar

Hardik further said, "The decision to bring Noor was that Suryakumar, Green, and David's bat works well on fast bowlers and you can see the result. For Abhinav Manohar, I would like to say that it is his hard work. Since last year, I have seen that the support staff try to make him practice for two hours."
