These states include Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. The water level of the Godavari and Krishna rivers has increased significantly. Talking about the eastern states, flood waters have entered many villages in North Bihar.

According to the Water Resources Department, flood water has entered some villages of Patna, Begusarai, Katihar, Araria, Madhepura, Supaul, and Saharsa districts. At the same time, people have started migrating to safer places due to the fear of floods.
