The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that there is a possibility of heavy rains in some parts of the country for the next three days and the department said that heavy rains may cause flash floods in many places.

These states include Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. The water level of the Godavari and Krishna rivers has increased significantly. Talking about the eastern states, flood waters have entered many villages in North Bihar.

According to the Water Resources Department, flood water has entered some villages of Patna, Begusarai, Katihar, Araria, Madhepura, Supaul, and Saharsa districts. At the same time, people have started migrating to safer places due to the fear of floods.
