Voting for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections will be held on eight seats on April 19 from 7 am to 6 pm. Union Minister of State Sanjeev Balyan, Public Works Minister in Yogi government Jitin Prasad, BJP MP from Kairana Pradeep Choudhary, RLD MLA Chandan Chauhan of Meerapur who has fielded as NDA (RLD) candidate from Bijnor and Nahtaur are beating the drum as BJP candidate from Nagina. MLA Om Kumar is included.

While Balyan is preparing to go to Lok Sabha from Muzaffarnagar for the third consecutive time, the BJP has made Jitin its candidate from Pilibhit. In this phase, the strength of political houses will also be tested. Eyes are on whether Iqra Hasan, daughter of the famous Hasan family of Kairana, wins the election from this seat as an SP candidate and reaches the Lok Sabha or not. It is also a matter of curiosity whether Imran Masood, who belongs to the Qazi family of Saharanpur, enters Parliament in the third attempt after the defeat in the last two Lok Sabha elections.
