Weather takes a turn in North India; light rain likely in Delhi, UP, and Rajasthan, while snowfall is forecast in the hills.

On Monday, weather patterns are expected to shift across various parts of the country. In North India, a Western Disturbance is likely to bring clouds, light rainfall, and strong winds, while temperatures in the western and southern regions have begun to rise gradually.

 

 

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to remain pleasant in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi-NCR, and the hilly states. Conversely, the effects of rising heat will be felt in Mumbai and the southern states.

 

 

What will the weather be like in Delhi-NCR?

On Monday, Delhi-NCR may experience light drizzle and overcast skies, with the possibility of moderate rainfall in some areas. The mornings and evenings are expected to remain chilly.

 

 

Overcast skies in UP

Regarding Uttar Pradesh, several districts are expected to remain overcast, with a likelihood of light rainfall. Strong winds may blow across western and central UP, potentially leading to a slight dip in temperatures.

 

 

Light rain and strong winds are likely in Rajasthan.

In many parts of Rajasthan, the sky will remain covered with clouds. Additionally, there is a possibility of light rainfall and strong winds in isolated areas. In Mumbai, temperatures may run slightly higher than normal, though the skies are expected to remain clear.

 

 

Possibility of snowfall in higher altitudes

Turning to the hilly states, the weather in Uttarakhand has taken a turn; snowfall is anticipated in the higher altitudes. Similarly, a possibility of snowfall has also been forecast for Shimla, Manali, and other high-altitude regions of Himachal Pradesh.
