According to the Meteorological Department, under the influence of Cyclonic Circulation, a low-pressure area has formed over the east-central Arabian Sea adjacent to the southeast and north Kerala and Karnataka coasts.
This cyclonic circulation is likely to move in a west-northwest direction off the Indian coast. Fishermen have been advised not to venture near the coast during this period. It has been advised not to go to the Lakshadweep region till the 15th morning.
