The 2025 International Emmy Awards were held in New York City late on November 24th. The 53rd International Emmy Awards were a special event for Indian cinema lovers, as singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh's film Amar Singh Chamkeela received nominations in two categories, bringing glory to the country internationally.

However, this joy was limited to the nomination itself, as Diljit Dosanjh's dream of winning Best Actor at the International Emmy Awards remained unfulfilled, and someone else won the prize. However, Diljit made a splash on the red carpet with his look, pictures of which are going viral on social media.

Director Imtiaz Ali's OTT film Amar Singh Chamkila was nominated in two categories at the 53rd International Emmy Awards: Best TV Mini-Movie/Series and Best Performance by an Actor, both of which featured Diljit Dosanjh. Unfortunately, Amar Singh Chamkila missed out on both categories and failed to win the International Emmy Awards 2025.

Instead of Diljit Dosanjh and Amar Singh Chamkila, the British TV drama Lost Boys, and Fairies (Best TV Series) won both categories at the International Emmy Awards 2025, while Spanish actor Oriol Pla won the Best Actor award.

Amar Singh Chamkila couldn't have been made without him; he gave his 100% to this movie."
