The IMD has predicted light rain in the national capital in the next three to four days. IMD scientist Soma Sen told news agency ANI that there is a possibility of rain (called pre-monsoon rain) in Delhi due to southwesterly winds in the next three to four days. At the same time, people can also get relief from the heatwave to a great extent.
The IMD has forecast the next seven days in which the national capital will get slight relief from Wednesday. At the same time, the IMD has expected a yellow alert for heatwave in the city on June 19 and June 20 and a green alert on June 21 and June 22 for Delhi.
How will be the weather in Delhi today?
The weather department has forecast that it will be partly cloudy on Wednesday. There are also chances of dust storms, thunderclouds, lightning, and light rain with gusty winds of 40 to 50 kmph. The maximum and minimum temperatures can be 43 and 34 degrees respectively. The weather department has also issued a yellow alert.
Clouds will thunder in Bihar for four consecutive days
Amid the scorching heat, news of relief has come for the people of Bihar. According to the weather department, there are chances of moderate to heavy rain in 10 districts from June 20 to June 24. Apart from this, strong storms can also blow at these places. There are chances of sporadic rain with thunder, and lightning along with the movement of clouds in southern parts including Patna.

People are facing problems due to hot nights along with severe heat waves in Uttar Pradesh. There is a possibility of rain and strong winds with thunderstorms in both parts of the state on Wednesday. Rain is expected in many areas of UP. Strong winds can blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour in Prayagraj, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar and surrounding areas.

During the next 24 hours, Assam, Meghalaya, and Arunachal Pradesh may receive moderate to heavy rain with heavy rain in some places. Apart from this, light to moderate rain with heavy rain in some places may occur in southern Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Telangana, Sikkim, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, southern Odisha, and Chhattisgarh, coastal Karnataka and parts of Kerala.
According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain is expected in Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, interior Karnataka, southern Gujarat, northern Chhattisgarh, parts of Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh. At the same time, light rain may occur in Uttarakhand, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Rayalaseema, Marathwada, and south-eastern Rajasthan. IMD has predicted scattered rain, thunderstorms, and dust storms in Punjab, Haryana, north-western Uttar Pradesh, and north-western Rajasthan.
