Weather Update: Delhi-NCR may get slight relief from heat today, know how the weather will be for the next five days

There is no hope of getting relief from the heat in the capital of Delhi at the moment. The Meteorological Department says that the temperature is expected to increase in Delhi in the coming days. The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of a severe heatwave in Delhi from April 28. The temperature in the capital may remain around 44 degrees Celsius.

 

Partly cloudy sky in Delhi today

 

 Delhi will be partly cloudy today, with thunder and thunder, there is a possibility of drizzle in some places. Today the maximum temperature can be 41 and the minimum temperature is 23 degrees Celsius. The weather will be more or less similar on Tuesday as well. After that, the sky will be clear. The temperature is also expected to increase every day. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for 28, 29, and 30 April.

 

Mercury in Delhi may touch 44 degrees Celsius

 

The Meteorological Department has forecast that the maximum temperature may increase by three to five degrees Celsius over most parts of Northwest India during the next five days. He said that by Thursday, the mercury in Delhi could touch the level of 44 degrees. Delhi's base station Safdarjung Observatory on Sunday recorded a maximum temperature of 39.5 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal for this time of year. Amidst clear skies, the mercury is expected to cross 40 degrees on Monday and gradually reach 44 degrees Celsius by Thursday.

 

 

Chance of rain with dust storm in Himachal and Punjab

 

Monday can bring relief to the people facing the scorching heat in Punjab. According to the Meteorological Department, many districts of the state may receive rain and thundershower along with dust storms from Monday. Due to which the drop in temperature, there will be some relief from the heat for some time. Thunderstorm and lightning warning in 11 districts except for Lahaul Spiti in Himachal Pradesh on Monday. During this, there is a possibility of snowfall at one or two places on the higher peaks and rain in the lower areas in the state. The last two forecasts of the Meteorological Department did not live up to the expectation. There has been no rain in the state for the last two months.
