According to the IMD, severe heatwave conditions are likely over most parts of Rajasthan, parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and West Madhya Pradesh. Due to the heat in the capital Delhi, the Meteorological Department has issued a 'yellow' alert. Heatwave condition has been predicted in many places of Delhi and severe heatwave condition in many areas. During the day, the minimum temperature of Delhi is expected to remain at 23 degrees Celsius today, while the maximum temperature may remain at 42 degrees Celsius.
Talking about the hilly areas, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of changing the weather again in Uttarakhand. Due to Western Disturbance, it may rain here in the next few days. Due to this, there may be some decrease in temperature. Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, will have a minimum temperature of 19 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, the minimum temperature of Shimla in Himachal Pradesh is going to be 18 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is likely to be 28 degrees Celsius.
Cyclonic Circulation over the Bay of Bengal
A Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over the South-West Bay of Bengal. Special vigil has been advised in sensitive areas in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Tehri, Pithoragarh, Almora, Bageshwar, Nainital, Champawat. However, light showers may also occur here. On April 13 and 14, there may be hail and rain in some places.
Relief from rain and storm in Himachal
In Himachal Pradesh, on Saturday night, there was some respite from the heat due to hailstorms and strong winds at some places in Mandi, Kullu, and Shimla districts. This has damaged the crops. Jammu is suffering from hot air
