Outgoing Education Minister Kanwar Pal Gurjar has made it clear that Manohar Lal will become the Chief Minister again. Manohar Lal will take oath as Chief Minister for the third time. The resignation of the coalition government has been given only to end the alliance with JJP.
BJP legislature party meeting in Chandigarh
BJP has called the legislature party meeting in Chandigarh. In the meeting, Manohar Lal will be re-elected as the leader of the BJP Legislature Party in the presence of central observers Arjun Munda and Tarun Chugh. It remains to be seen whether Manohar Lal will take oath alone or Ranjit Singh Chautala along with two other MLAs will take oath as Deputy Chief Ministers. Both the central observers have reached the Raj Nivas in Haryana. All these BJP MLAs and independent MLAs are present.
JJP leader Dushyant Chautala in Delhi
Whereas, Dushyant Chautala is in Delhi. There are only four MLAs with him. He had met BJP national president JP Nadda in Delhi on Sunday but did not get any indication to maintain the alliance. Dushyant, being the leader of the constituent party of the NDA alliance, was staking a claim on two seats of Haryana in the Lok Sabha elections. BJP had already made it clear that the party will contest all 10 seats in Haryana on the election symbol of lotus.
