In a major political development in Haryana, Chief Minister Manohar Lal has resigned. Manohar Lal will take oath again at 4 pm. The timing of the swearing-in ceremony has changed. Now there will be no alliance with Jananayak Janata Party with BJP in the state.

Outgoing Education Minister Kanwar Pal Gurjar has made it clear that Manohar Lal will become the Chief Minister again. Manohar Lal will take oath as Chief Minister for the third time. The resignation of the coalition government has been given only to end the alliance with JJP.

BJP legislature party meeting in Chandigarh

BJP has called the legislature party meeting in Chandigarh. In the meeting, Manohar Lal will be re-elected as the leader of the BJP Legislature Party in the presence of central observers Arjun Munda and Tarun Chugh. It remains to be seen whether Manohar Lal will take oath alone or Ranjit Singh Chautala along with two other MLAs will take oath as Deputy Chief Ministers. Both the central observers have reached the Raj Nivas in Haryana. All these BJP MLAs and independent MLAs are present.

JJP leader Dushyant Chautala in Delhi

Whereas, Dushyant Chautala is in Delhi. There are only four MLAs with him. He had met BJP national president JP Nadda in Delhi on Sunday but did not get any indication to maintain the alliance. Dushyant, being the leader of the constituent party of the NDA alliance, was staking a claim on two seats of Haryana in the Lok Sabha elections. BJP had already made it clear that the party will contest all 10 seats in Haryana on the election symbol of lotus.

Five JJP MLAs in contact with BJP

Five JJP MLAs, including Ramkumar Gautam, are in Chandigarh and touch with the BJP. It is believed that the new BJP government under the leadership of Manohar Lal will have the support of 41 BJP, six independents, and five JJP MLAs.
