Agricultural meteorologists of HAU have advised to stop irrigation and spray for two days because of the changing weather. After this, the weather will remain changeable on Sunday, and from March 15, the weather is expected to be generally dry and clear.
Rain, and snowfall in Kashmir for the second day, cloudy in Jammu
The process of rain and snowfall continued in Kashmir for the second day on Thursday. In most of the districts of Kashmir, the day temperature has increased by 5-8 degrees below normal. Due to this, the day temperature fell and the night temperature increased. According to meteorologists, there may be light rain with thunder on Friday and Saturday.
Snowfall on high peaks of Pangi including Rohtang, yellow alert even today
High peaks of Pangi including Rohtang received fresh snowfall on Thursday amid a yellow alert in Himachal Pradesh. The weather remained clear in the plain districts. Snowfall was recorded at 20 cm at Rohtang Pass, 15 at Koksar, and five cm at the North Portal and South Portal of Atal Tunnel Rohtang. At present, the administration has kept Atal Tunnel Rohtang closed to tourists because of bad weather.
