Meanwhile, another cyclonic circulation is persisting over South Andaman Sea and adjoining Malacca Strait and Sumatra in the middle tropospheric levels.
Rain will continue in the southern state

With the forecast of Sri Lanka moving further west, heavy rains will be seen over Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh coasts on December 18.
