Weather Update Today: Increased cold in Delhi, the havoc of rain in many southern states; IMD issued alert

Cold is increasing in most parts of the country including North India. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be a drop of 2-4 degree Celsius in the minimum temperature in North West India during the next two days.

 

At the same time, heavy rains continue to wreak havoc in some areas of India. At the same time, according to the India Meteorological Department, a low-pressure area has formed over the Southeast Arabian Sea. Whose possibility of moving towards west north from the coast of India has been expressed. By the morning of 14th December, a low-pressure area would form over the adjoining southeast sea. There is a possibility of it turning into a depression by the morning of 15 December.

 

According to the Meteorological Department, a low-pressure area has formed over east central and adjoining southeast Arabian Sea off north Kerala and Karnataka coasts. Most of the weather systems in the Arabian Sea originate over the Bay of Bengal during December. This low pressure is the remnant of Cyclone Mandas that formed over the Bay during the first week of December. Meanwhile, another cyclonic circulation is persisting over South Andaman Sea and adjoining Malacca Strait and Sumatra in the middle tropospheric levels.

 

Rain will continue in the southern state

Cold wave continues in Delhi while rains will continue in the southern states. A low-pressure area is forming over the central Arabian Sea, which is likely to intensify soon. Due to its intensity, heavy rains will be seen again in the southern states. However, before this, a low-pressure area formed over the southeast and north Kerala and Karnataka coast under the influence of cyclonic circulation.

 

A cyclonic circulation is also getting ready

 

In addition to a low pressure over the central Arabian Sea, cyclonic circulation has also formed over the South Sea and adjoining Sumatra from the mid-tropospheric level. Heavy to very heavy rain with isolated heavy to very heavy rain is forecast over the Nicobar Deep group on 15th December. With the forecast of Sri Lanka moving further west, heavy rains will be seen over Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh coasts on December 18.

 

How will be the weather in Delhi

According to the Meteorological Department, today, November 15, the minimum temperature in Delhi can be up to 8 degrees and the maximum temperature can be up to 25 degrees. At the same time, the sky is likely to remain clear in Delhi today.

The mercury has once again gone below zero in the entire Kashmir. The valley is in the grip of a cold wave. The weather will remain dry till December 21, due to which the trend of drop in minimum temperature will continue. The night will continue to chill.

 

Severe cold in Jammu as well

 

At the same time, in Jammu, the sun is enjoying the day, but as soon as the evening comes, the cold wind starts chilling. According to the information received from the Meteorological Center, Srinagar, the weather will remain dry till December 21. There is a possibility of light snowfall in the higher mountain areas in between. Due to this, the outbreak of cold waves will continue.
