The country is going to celebrate its 74th Republic Day this year on January 26, 2023. On this day in 1950, Republic Day is celebrated to commemorate the implementation of the Constitution. Like every year, this time also the leader of the other country is being called the chief guest in the Republic Day program. It has been a tradition to invite foreign chief guests on the occasion of Republic Day. This time, on the occasion of the Republic Day program to be held on 26 January 2023, the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, will be included as the chief guest. It may be noted that due to Kovid, no chief guest was invited for two years. However, after two years, this time the President of Egypt will grace the Republic Day celebrations.

 

When, how, and where will you get tickets for the parade?

 

Online purchase of tickets for the Republic Day event has started from January 6. At the same time, from January 9, people can buy their tickets in person at the ticket counters. Tickets for the Republic Day Parade can be purchased online through the web portal of the Ministry of Defense www.amantran.gov.in.

 

This year, the Government of India has set up an online portal aamantran.mod.gov.in for people to book Republic Day tickets online.

 

Here's how you can book tickets online to watch the Republic Day 2023 parade:

 

First of all visit the official website aamantran.mod.gov.in.

Register yourself by entering personal details like name, father's/husband's name, date of birth, mobile number, and permanent address.

Go to the login page.

Enter your registered mobile number.

Verify captcha.

Click on 'Request OTP'.

Enter the OTP that you will receive on your mobile number through a text message.

Select the Republic Day event you want to participate in.

Enter all the required details of the attendees.

Upload a valid ID proof.

Complete payment and buy tickets.

 

Know important things about Republic Day 2023 ticket booking -

Following are some important details about the Republic Day 2023 parade and tickets that people must know.

 

One registered mobile number can be used to book 10 tickets only.

 

Each Republic Day ticket will have a QR code which will be scanned by the security personnel at the Republic Day parade venue.

 

Republic Day tickets cost Rs 20, 100, and 500, depending on the type of event you want to attend.

 

Apart from the online portal, Republic Day tickets can be bought offline from Sena Bhawan Gate No. 2, Shastri Bhawan Gate No. 3, Main Gate Jantar Mantar, and Gate No. 1 Pragati Maidan.

 

Republic Day tickets will be available from 9 am to 12:30 pm and from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.
