Kolkata: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally in Kharagpur today to help voters in the West Bengal assembly elections. During this, he appealed to the people of the state to give us a chance for five years and will bridge the waste of the last 70 years. During this, he described Mamata Banerjee as a 'hurdle in the path of development'. He said that the central government sends money for the development of the state but Mamta Banerjee does not allow those schemes to be implemented here. PM Modi shouted slogans while addressing the rally. He said- 'BJP government in Bengal this time.'
Addressing the rally, he said that if our party comes to power in Bengal, then we will develop here in a phased manner. PM Modi said that the facility of agriculture, irrigation, and cold storage will be improved as soon as the BJP government is formed in the state.
PM Modi said, "Bengal has seen the Congress's adventures, experienced the destruction of the Left and how the TMC has crushed your dreams. This is what we have seen in the last 70 years. Give us a chance for 5 years, eradicate the waste of 70 years, and will remain. ''
PM played 'Bengal card'
PM Modi also played the Bengal card to woo the voters in his favor. During this, he said, "The father of the Jana Sangh was the son of this Bengal." Therefore, if there is a Bengal party in the true sense, then it is the BJP. BJP's DNA has the ethics, thoughts, behavior, and values of Ashutosh Mukherjee and Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. ''
Regarding the issue of development, he said, "Wherever there are BJP governments in the states, the central and BJP state governments are engaged in the service of the people with the power of double engine. We are working with the mantra of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' and 'Sabka Vishwas'.
'Attack on Mamta'
During the rally, PM Modi attacked the Chief Minister of the state, Mamata Banerjee. He said, "Development is going on in BJP-ruled states, but in West Bengal, Didi has become a wall in front of every plan of development." You trusted Didi, but Didi betrayed you, betrayed you. ''

When is voting in Bengal?
In West Bengal elections will be held in a total of eight phases. In the first phase, voting will be held on March 27 on 30 seats.
