Who is behind the Rameshwaram cafe blast? Now NIA will investigate; the Suspect wearing a cap, mask, and glasses will be known soon

The investigation into the explosion at Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru has been handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Let us inform you that on March 1, at least 10 people were injured in the explosion at Rameshwaram Cafe in Brookfield. Sources said a man wearing a cap, mask, and glasses is the prime suspect in the case and has still not been traced.

 

Earlier, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had said on Sunday that the government may consider handing over the Rameshwaram cafe blast case to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) if needed. The Chief Minister said that the Central Crime Branch (CCB) is investigating the case.

 

 

 

 

When and how did the blast happen?

The blast took place at Rameshwaram Cafe at 1 pm on Friday. Police have seen a suspect keeping a bag inside the cafe in the CCTV footage. Police believe that an IED device with a timer was used to carry out the blast.

 

The team engaged in an intensive investigation

After obtaining CCTV footage of the suspected attacker, the police started searching for the accused. HAL police have registered a case under sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act 1967 and the Explosive Substances Act, Bengaluru City Police said in a press statement. A team of FSL, bomb disposal squad, and dog squad are engaged in an intensive investigation around the blast site, The Rameshwaram Cafe.
