The Indian team captained by Rohit Sharma won the T20 World Cup 2024 title. In the final match of the T20 World Cup 2024 played in Barbados, India defeated South Africa by 7 runs and won the title.

After India became the champion, the players of Team India shared pictures of the trophy on their social media accounts. Rohit Sharma's name has also been added to this list, who shared his image for the first time after India won the T20 World Cup trophy.

Rohit Sharma shared the first picture after winning the T20 World Cup 2024 trophy.

About 24 hours after winning the T20 World Cup title, Rohit Sharma shared a post on his X (formerly Twitter), in which he shared his picture in which he is seen lying on the field. While sharing this photo, Rohit wrote that he has no words to share his feelings, but he will soon share his feelings with everyone. At the moment he is enjoying the realization of his dream.

Rohit wrote that this picture symbolizes how I feel right now. I have a lot of words, but I am not able to find the right words to describe what tomorrow means to me, I will do so and I will share them. Right now I am enjoying the dream come true for a billion people.

Let us tell you that Rohit Sharma took over the command of the Indian team in 2021. At that time Rahul Dravid was associated with Team India as the head coach. Under the leadership of both of them, India traveled to the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup in the year 2022, but England defeated India by 10 wickets and broke all its dreams. At the same time, now under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, Team India ended the 17-year T20 World Cup drought. Earlier in 2007, India had won the T20 World Cup title under the captaincy of Dhoni.
