Famous doctor KK Aggarwal died from Covid-19. What is surprising to the people, is that he had taken both doses of vaccine. On this, the doctor of Medanta Hospital, Arvind Kumar said that there can be many reasons that can happen even after complete vaccination. He told a news channel that more research is needed on this. However, he enumerated three possibilities that could be the cause of infection/death in both the people who have been dosed.
Is there protection despite both doses?
Dr. Kumar said that compared to the deaths of people who have been vaccinated recently, one thing is clear that the number of dead is less this time. We had assumed a death rate of 0% in Phase 3 trials, but the situation seems different on the ground. There can be many reasons for this. Dr. Kumar hinted that it may be that both of those who died after dosing did not have enough antibodies or that the vaccine was not effective against these strains.
The report may come positive even after vaccination
Dr. Narela Subramaniam, President of the Indian Medical Association in Andhra Pradesh, said that the WHO has repeatedly said that vaccines cannot make you Covid-19 positive. He also said that if a person takes a vaccine in the incubation period of Covid disease, then test positive can come. It may also happen that you have an infection from the vaccination center or you may have a positive result in that case just after being vaccinated.
No one died during the trial
Earlier, Dr. Kumar said that when the phase three trials of the corona vaccine were conducted last year, it was seen that even after applying the vaccine, 25-30% of people were infected. However, during this trial, infection in all volunteers was mild variety. No one was required to be admitted to the hospital or ventilator. No one was killed in that group.
He said that until about a month and a half before today, when there was no second wave of corona in the country, it was also believed that after getting both the doses of vaccine, going on a ventilator, getting admitted to ICU or It is not possible to know about life. But this perception has changed now. In the last few weeks, it is seen that many doctors, journalists, or front-line workers who were vaccinated, their condition became serious or lost their lives.
269 doctors die from corona across the country
More than 250 doctors have died in the second wave of Covid-19 infection. According to the Indian Medical Association (IMA), a total of 269 doctors have lost their lives in the second wave of the corona. The youngest of all these doctors is the young doctor. Those whose ages ranged between 30 and 55 years.
